Jacques Marie Mage Amilcar eyeglasses feature a classic round lens shape with a softly curved brow line. The design draws inspiration from the golden age of Grand Touring and the streamlined forms of early European sports cars.
The Amilcar is handcrafted in Japan from 10mm cured cellulose acetate. Double-laminated acetate temples continue the construction of the front and add further detail to the frame.
Signature Arrowhead front pins, spur-shaped rivets and custom 7-barrel hinges define the construction. The individually crafted wirecores feature fine Art Deco details that combine decorative elements with the technical construction of the frame.
The Jacques Marie Mage Amilcar is produced in limited small batches and combines Japanese craftsmanship with a round silhouette and carefully developed hardware.
