The 2809H-V2 is Matsuda’s modern interpretation of the iconic 2809H, first released in 1989. A limited edition of 500 pieces worldwide, this frame is built for those who regard eyewear as an expression of singular identity — not trend, not volume.
Combining intricately detailed titanium with premium Japanese acetate, every frame is crafted by hand in the workshops of Sabae, Japan — a process requiring up to two years and as many as 250 steps. Detachable side shields add a functional and sculptural dimension that sets the 2809H-V2 apart as a collector’s object as much as a precision optical instrument.
Delivered with a custom wood case and microfiber cleaning cloth, the 2809H-V2 arrives complete. Available in a narrow fit, size 52.
