The M2055 is a harmonious blend of acetate and metal that highlights Matsuda’s expertise in both materials. The bold geometric shape with keyhole bridge features a contrasting metal inner rim crafted of titanium — a rimlock construction that allows for clean lens removal and reinstallation while keeping every line deliberate and precise.
Hand-polished Japanese acetate meets lightweight titanium in a frame that belongs to Matsuda’s Essential Sun Collection. UV protection and backside anti-reflective coating are standard across all lenses. Each piece is hand-assembled in Japan and individually inspected to meet Matsuda’s highest quality standards before leaving the workshop.
The M2055 is delivered with Matsuda’s signature hard case and microfiber cleaning cloth.
